Job Overview
Preparing detailed monthly profit and loss and working capital reviews in accordance with IFRS
Preparing management reports including financial and non-financial KPIs
Preparing detailed SG&A budgets and monthly report analysis
Supporting other regional offices in addressing accounting issues and their month end closing process
Analysing new transactions, concluding and documenting the appropriate accounting treatment under IFRS and ensuring its application
Supporting traffic/operations with the preparation of ad-hoc departmental financial reports and analysis
Consistently challenging the status quo to ensure that activities and procedures are as efficient and effective as possible, whilst adhering to a strong internal control ethos
Contribute to current projects underway, outside of month end
Maintaining professional and technical accounting and finance knowledge
Guiding and advising traffic/operations on accounting day to day accounting matters
• Qualified Chartered Accountant, with Big 4 audit firm articles experience
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana Fi/Co, Analysis for Office, Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel
