Your contribution to KPMG
Advise insurance companies in regard to core insurance systems with regards to business requirements, process optimization and operational excellence with focus in life
Lead the business requirements analysis and identify and evaluate business dependencies.
Creation of a requirement catalogue based on a given reference model or system
Development of solutions and business models at the intersection of IT and business in the areas of P&C, life and health insurance
Leading and moderation of workshops, business requirements, gap analysis and product analysis
Optimization of core insurance systems and processes, e.g. underwriting, sales & distribution, and claims.
Sustainable improvement of efficiency and effectiveness gains in various areas, e.g. business analysis & design, process optimization, data migration
Execution of assigned tasks within deliverable and project deadline
Collaboration in a fast-paced interdisciplinary team
4-6 years of experience as a management consultant or business analyst
in the insurance sector, especially in the area of IT transformation, core system projects or in business architecture. Life insurance is a strong plus
You bring in-depth technical or industry knowledge and understand the systematics in the area of (life-)insurance & pensions, especially interaction of areas such as customer service, underwriting, claims and product management
Project experience in at least one of the following areas within (life-) insurance (e.g. core system transformation, digital transformation or automation)
Quick comprehension and structured analytical ability, proactive, on-time and goal-oriented work style with results of consistently high quality, even under tight deadlines
Experience in leading independent project streams and solid project management skills
Profound knowledge of (life) insurance-related core processes (analyzing & designing) and core systems
Experience in cross-channel and cross-divisional collaboration with stakeholders at both project and management level
Conceptualization and preparation of decision papers for top management and project steering groups
Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as confident appearance towards customers and internal partners on all hierarchy levels
Proficient in German and English
