Workload: 80 – 100%

Your contribution to KPMG

• Develop solutions to complex problems for life insurance and reinsurance clients

• Perform actuarial analysis of Life products and data sources

• Advise clients on topics relating to life core systems and develop data migration strategies

• Support clients with the actuarial aspects of core system transformation programs

• Conduct actuarial development of transformation approaches, rules and validation assignments based on the target data model

• Provide support with extraction of data from various sources, data mapping workshops and data cleansing

• Assist with the due diligence of data validation and data migration

• Identify business opportunities by building relationships internally / externally

• University degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance or Mathematics

• Completed actuarial qualification (SAV/FIA or equivalent) a strong plus

• At least 4-6 years of experience within the insurance industry as an actuary

• Experience with market leading core systems a strong plus

• Strong knowledge of the (preferred Swiss) individual life business – particular pricing and underwriting processes for individual life business

• Data Migration experience a strong plus

• Audit and IFRS 17 experience a plus

• Strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office and Python – experience with actuarial software a plus

• Entrepreneurial mindset, independent and outgoing personality who fosters collaboration

• Fluent in German and English
