The role
• Analysis, planning and support of implementations for our main Metals and Minerals trading system
• Closely working with traders, asset, and traffic managers to understand change requirements
• Regular communication on existing and future requirements to relevant stakeholders
• Further improvement and maintenance of product documentation for support staff and end users
• Collaborating with Project Managers, 2nd, and 3rd level support as well as development
• Applying our change management process, involving testing in UAT and pre-production environments
• Self-driven and proud to take ownership
• Can-do and positive attitude with a strong ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
• Open and transparent communicator; able to report the bad news too
• Great communicator with a collaborative mindset
Minimum requirements
• Education on degree level (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of working experience in a similar trading or financial environment
• Good knowledge of Business analysis methodologies (certification is a bonus, e.g. IIBA)
• Knowledge of writing SQL is a plus
• Delivery and customer focused: efficiently delivering quality, hitting tight deadlines while remaining within system and data architecture principles
• Excellent language skills – a high English standard is a must, German is a strong advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate and negotiate with all levels of the business and IT
