Job Overview

Are you motivated to join the Business Performance Management team of Group Planning & Performance Management (GPPM)? Do you aspire to combines both the role of a Market Manager to a specific BU and/or Region, as well as the one of GPPM Product Owner of P&C Performance and Profitability Product?

If yes, then this position is the right one for you! In this role you will be closely working with the assigned BU, other Product Owners and Market Managers, the agile team in GPPM as well as the Group Functions.

What you will do

Acting as Market Manager you are responsible to build trusted senior relationship with management in your market, to provide business, financial performance and market insights

Acting as Product Owner for P&C you lead an agile team, are responsible for the ongoing Profitability and Performance initiatives including organizing the at least quarterly Cross Functional Review with the Head of the Group Functions (e.g. Group Chief Actuary, Group Claims Officer, Group Chief Underwriter, Head of Group PPM etc)

Supporting Planning and Close Product Owners in any specific P&C Performance considerations

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, and 8 or more years of experience in a related field. Additional qualification, such as CFA, FRM, qualified actuary is a plus

Experience in leading transformational Leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and dedication to the internal customers including Senior Management

Proven track record of financial modeling skills (including IFRS 17, cash flow models, Zurich’s economic framework)

Outstanding analytical skills and ability to abstract from detailed analysis to high level trends and conclusions for Senior Management

Business Unit experience in P&C business (e.g. PPM, Actuarial)

Ability to work in an agile environment and to manage multiple stakeholders

Knowledge of financial reporting processes and architecture

Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
