Job Overview
Reporting to the GM Enterprise Risk & Integrated Management Systems, you will provide global direction, support, coaching and project management with respect to the Copper Management System (CMS). Key challenge for this role is the development and implementation of the CMS standards, processes, systems, and tools, taking into consideration the current level of maturity across the assets, in addition to the various local legislations.
The main tasks and responsibilities include
Being accountable for the planning, development, implementation, and project management of the Copper Management System (CMS)
Coaching and governing functional leads in the development of the CMS standards in line with Glencore Group Policies and Standards
Supporting and executing the CMS change management and learning development strategy
Providing ongoing coaching, training and support to asset, regional and functional leadership and team members on the CMS
Governing the implementation of the CMS globally and provide assurance that compliance to the Standards has been achieved / maintained
Working with a fun and globally diverse team
Thinking outside the box to find solutions to complex problems
is a team player, self-motivated and eager to join one of the commodity industry leading companies
can work independently across all functions and levels of the business
can travel to the Assets and Regional offices for site familiarisation and ongoing engagement
Qualifications and requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science or Risk Management
Minimum 10 years high level experience in operations, engineering, enterprise risk management and/or safety management in the resources sector or related heavy industries
Continuously progressive roles with demonstrated experience in the implementing and/or working with management systems
Experience would ideally include the development and implementation of an Integrated Management System (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 55001), process safety management, and/or project management
Strong communication and engagement skills across multiple functions
Fluency in English and proficiency in French and Spanish is ideal
Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH / EU
