We are looking for a motivated Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team to assist in keeping our mission critical databases available for our business. Our current landscape is based on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server and is the system of record for numerous applications. This position plays a key role in our delivery of applications in Switzerland and globally.Strategic Technology Stack

• Oracle running on Exadata and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)

• Microsoft SQL Server deployed on virtualized hosts

• Oracle Linux and MS Windows Server OS

Delivering value to our stakeholders requires us to:

• Administer the databases and corresponding infrastructure to ensure stability, integrity, efficiency, and recoverability

• Work with internal IT Teams to ensure optimal use of the databases as well as assist them with issue resolution

• Continually learn to stay up to date with the latest technology changes for the products we support in addition to new solutions

• Work together as a team

• Look for the best solution to a problem and implement it

• Has 5 years of professional experience administrating Oracle databases in an enterprise environment; additional experience with Exadata or ODA would be beneficial• Has 2-3 years professional experience administrating Microsoft SQL Databases

• Has an entrepreneurial mindset looking for ways to improve our landscape

• Are educated to degree level (or equivalent)

• Have strong language skills – a high English standard is required; German is a plus
