The role of Director – Structured Product Specialist has primary coverage responsibility for the derivatives portfolio and product developments in continental Europe.

What you will do:

Provide advice on the use of structured Unit Linked products – Evaluate the needs of current and potential customer base and improve existing/or develop new financial solutions; assist product development teams and local investment teams to the launch of new products. Ability to manage the whole value chain of product construction to meet client objectives.

Pricing and Execution of Structured Notes Lead, draft (and review) documentation with respect to new (and current) transactions in collaboration with the Legal & Compliance department.

Provide support in analyzing programs for investment strategy. Provides specialist resources to a range of both internal and external ad-hoc requests.

Generate trade ideas/investment strategies through top-down and/or security-specific analysis, considering drivers of first- and higher-order risks and internal objectives.

Develop and ensure that best practice standards on derivatives pricing and documentation are being utilized Assist the head of Financial engineering on legal documentations and subsequent regulatory reviews.

As a Structured Product Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Master’s degree, preferably in Mathematics/Physics, Finance or Economics.

Relevant work experience in banking, or asset management desirable (min 10 years) as financial engineer, Structurer, trader for derivatives.

Proven track records in quantitative financial modelling of derivatives and structured products including programming experiences.

Excellent English communication (oral and written) skills. Knowledge of German is an advantage.

Ability to project confidence, communicate effectively and argue persuasively with senior professionals.

Ability to evolve in a global organization and proven track record working in multiple jurisdictions environment.

Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
