What you will do
Zurich Switzerland is currently replacing the current Life Actuarial reserving and database system with a new system, referred to as LARS
In this role, your main task is to develop the new actuarial system which includes:
– Leading the cross-functional implementation team as Product Owner and giving actuarial guidance and advice throughout the process
– Interface with IT, operations and business that supports the process
– Ensure a timely, within budget and generally successful implementation
You will also manage legacy systems support for the current system
You lead the Actuarial systems team with three permanent team members
Relevant experience, ideally in actuarial pricing or reserving
Experience with R, SQL and C is highly beneficial
Strong managerial skills and experience and a high level of commitment to execution
Impact, credibility and ability to influence on the Swiss Business Unit level
Experience and interest in working in an agile project environment
Technical and analytical skills to a high level
