Job Overview
Responsibilities:
• Understands client’s requirements, current IT infrastructure, application framework and leverage Informatica administrator capabilities to set up a robust platform and bring Informatica services available for the users (both application as well as business users)
• Maintain high availability of Informatica services and ensure they are up and running all the time without any latency
• Add users to Informatica platform and provide privileges appropriately
• Enable business users to log into Informatica services using smart card authentication
• set-up the connection from Informatica to underlying application databases securely using certificate based authentication
• Provide solutions for code promotions from lower to higher environments by bringing avenues for automation using UNIX scripts
• Understanding user requirements and delivering appropriate solutions. Expected to maintain industry knowledge of Informatica product suit / services and trends in order to select the best solutions to meet business requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
• Minimum 8 years of strong experience in IT (Required)
• A proven track record in demonstrating excellence in providing effective Informatica admin services for programs designed at large scale (Required)
• Project experience in Service Orientated Architecture and Design. Must have a strong development and design knowledge (Required)
• Proven experience on third party scheduling tools like Control-M and Autosys (Required)
• Exposure to multiple Data warehousing technologies like Oracle, Netezza and Teradata – Preferred
