RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, lead, and execute audits autonomously in Switzerland and abroad mainly in the Wealth Management and Private Banking business including second line of defense functions
Use data analytics techniques in the audit assignments
Support the Lead Auditors in the yearly risk-assessment exercise
Complete audit assignments on time, within budget and in line with audit standards and methodology
Discuss identified weaknesses and shortcomings with auditees and recommend feasible and value-adding actions supporting effective remediation of risks
Prepare audit reports and follow-up on the implementation of the ‘agreed audit actions’Work in interdisciplinary teams (i.e. integrated process audits with IT and Data Analytics driving improvements in integrated audits via close communication with business and audit peers)
Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, build trusted partnerships, deliver sound opinion and present relevant solutions
Support special tasks (e.g. ad hoc analysis and investigations)
Share best practices and contribute to process and audit methodology improvements
Stay actively informed on regulatory changes, bank internal developments and contribute to the annual risk assessment
Contribute to the positive team spirit. Motivate, support and coach junior team members individually to improve their skills and performance
Audit related certification such as CIA / CPARobust audit experience in the internal or external audit function in the Swiss financial industry, preferably with focus on Wealth Management and Private Banking (minimum 5 years)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English. Preferably with good knowledge of one additional languages such as Spanish
Good knowledge of MS Office applications. Affinity for data analysis and its application to business/risk related questions
Structured and goal-oriented work approach with strong analytical skills and experience in applying such skills to audit related questions
Experience in auditing internal control systems and related processes and controls, front-to-back
A positive, forward-thinking personality and can-do attitude with a dedicated interest towards wealth management, private banking and audit topics
Flexible and committed team player with the ability to work independently in the execution of audit assignments, also under pressure
Fast learner and active listener with strong interpersonal communication skills
Personal integrity
Willingness to travel abroad for 3 to 4 weeks per year
