Your tasks
You are part of our application operations team. Together, you take care of operations for some our most important applications.
Your main responsibility and area of expertise is setup and operations for our document processing environment based on ABBYY FlexiCapture.
You ensure reliable and efficient operational processes for business-critical applications. This includes implementing high available and resilient application architectures and responsibility for application lifecycle management (ALM) – change, incident and problem management, troubleshooting in context of 2nd level support, updates and system patching.
Where required, you coordinate activities with internal and external parties, for example with PwC global dev- and ops teams, handover to 3rd level support and management of suppliers and vendors.
You are experienced with setup, maintenance and support of Windows-based server applications. This includes implementation and operations of highly complex applications in the role of a system-/application-eingineer.
You have a good working knowledge about “basics” like platform-, network- and security-engineering. And you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You have worked with a broad range of technologies and products based on Microsoft Windows. Examples for this include: MS Windows itself, e.g. automated setup and deployment of applications, Monitoring of applications and processes, Active Directory, e.g. AD Federation, integration with web applications and client-/server applications, Web-based applications using Internet Information Services (IIS), Management of MS SQL Databases, Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl).
You have experience with software for document capturing and automated processing: ABBYY Flexicapture is our product of choice and any experience is an advantage; alternatively, you have worked with similar products, e.g. Ephesoft or Kofax.
