What you will do
We are a team of highly skilled system and software engineers who build and maintain Swisscom’s data lake. As product owner – streaming analytics platform, you enable Swisscom’s analytics and software development teams to quickly build performant and scalable real-time data pipelines using streaming/event data by translating customer needs into lean product features. In close collaboration with our customers and other product teams, you own all aspects of the product lifecycle, from understanding user needs, defining user stories, Iterations, and product roadmap and ensuring stable product operations.
•Experience as a product owner or manager of a data platform product, strong background in streaming data platform development
•Hands-on software engineering experience, especially designing and implementing microservices and REST APIs
•Proven product management skills as well as ability to drive technical roadmaps
•Knowledge of real-time streaming technologies, especially Apache Kafka and other big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Ceph, Hadoop, and cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes) is a plus
•Familiar with lean and agile methodologies like design thinking, SCRUM, or SAFe
•Knowledge of BI technologies and tools (like data warehousing, Tableau or Jupyter Notebooks) is a plus
•Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, experienced at collaborating with users, UX/design, and development teams
•Very good English, French or German a plus
