Job Overview

The Product Specialist Insurance-Linked Strategies is a member of the client solutions team of LGT ILS Partners (LGT ILS). The Product Specialist manages the interaction with the business development team (i.e. sales / distribution) across LGT Capital Partners Group. In this role, the Product Specialist is responsible for all documentation used for the interaction with the investor base of the LGT ILS fund and mandate universe. Furthermore, the Product Specialist is responsible for establishing recurring as well as customized investment management comments and reports across the product range of LGT ILS.

The main tasks can be listed as follows:

Act as first point of contact for the business development team across the LGT Capitals Partners Group with regards to the product suite of LGT ILS;

Represent LGT ILS and its fund suite internally and externally, in close collaboration with the partners and portfolio managers of LGT ILS;

Independently maintain and update the sales documentation for the ILS product suite, including process- and due diligence documentation;

Establish customized product documentation such as manager updates, catastrophe event alerts and recurring customized client reports;

Support LGT ILS regarding ad-hoc and project tasks, such as supporting annual audits, supporting ESG / SFDR reporting, etc.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Economics or Finance;

Solid experience with financial data systems (Bloomberg); proficient user of power point and excel;

Experience in the asset management industry in the area of insurance-linked strategies (ILS) and/or fixed-income (min. 5 years);

Fluent in German and English; other language skills of advantage;

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, pro-active team player.
