About the company
The mission of Schuberg Philis is to work with organizations in the world’s
most crucial industries means they also have some influence on society.
While keeping mission-critical operations fail-proof and secure, they seek to
achieve 100% customer satisfaction as well as make choices that positively
impact people and the planet.
Since Schuberg Philis was founded in 2000, they’ve grown considerably.
Today their nearly 400 colleagues work together to provide 100% customer
satisfaction. Their turnover has reached almost 100 million euros.
Because it’s in the DNA of Schuberg Philis and her employees to evolve and
adapt to their customer’s ever-changing needs, they shifted their focus from
providing dedicated on-premise infrastructure to cloud migration services,
bespoke software solutions, and more. Once this transition was underway,
they kept expanding and in the following years experienced an average
growth of 16%.
Schuberg Philis remains a proud partner to customers, long-time and new,
as they deliver mission-critical IT services that address the needs and
priorities of their businesses. Yet, to deliver complex solutions for
complicated challenges, and to do so with speed and securely, their
ambitions continue to grow. And so, in responding to consumer demands,
they themselves keep learning, improving, perfecting – and then some.
At Schuberg Philis we love to keep track of the latest and greatest tech that
comes from Silicon Valley and our public cloud partners, so we can always
pick the right tool for the job in the complex mission-critical ecosystems. In
our dream projects we can seamlessly integrate the newest
tech into an existing landscape to create high quality environments that last.
We have multiple customer teams that are AWS focused, but working on
different areas. As an AWS Engineer you will be part of one of these
multidisciplinary teams where you will focus on building AWS landing zones.
Refactoring, deploying and running the platform will be part of your
responsibilities as well. In addition, you will maintain the platforms we have
built for our customers, support the CI/CD pipelines and developers. You will
also manage the AWS landing zones with supportive tooling and coding.
Automation is very important since we want as little operational work as
technically possible, for both ourselves and the customer.

We are an independent company. Being 100% colleague-owned, we enjoy
ownership of our own future. Staying independent is a deliberate choice to
stay in control of our destiny. We also decide our own office hours and
holiday schedules. This sense of autonomy significantly adds to our
professional commitment and engagement. Retention is high, and
absenteeism is low. One reason for that may be because we make a
substantial investment in ways to enhance the wellbeing of our colleagues
and their families.
Our chefs-in-residence are beloved for the 100% they also always give. Each
day we have access to fresh, nutritious meals that can also be custom-made
according to dietary needs or preferences. Since we’re a company that
supports mission-critical operations 24/7, we have chefs who deliver
solutions to nourish our every need of the day (or night).
