Job Overview

We are looking for a committed Data Warehouse/BI expert to join our team to enhance and maintain our Data Warehouse and BI environment. You are part of our DWH Team working in close cooperation with the business departments and database administrators. This position requires a team player with good communication skills, strong analytical and logical thinking, and a solid understanding of DWH development and tuning in an Oracle centric environment.

Delivering value to our stakeholders requires us to:

• Collaborate and communicate with the business departments on all levels to find the best solution for new requirements and changes

• Understand business requirements and how best to enhance the data warehouse

• Implement and maintain the integration of large data sets from various sources to form the basis for seamless reporting and further calculation of additional key figures

• Constantly strive to improve our skill set and work openly with team members who support your success

• Have a minimum 10 year of experience of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in the DWH environment

• Have a great advantage if have experience with financial data and in the commodity trading and/or financial services sector

• Have knowledge in MS Power BI or any other BI tool in order to support and supply internal customers with ad-hoc analysis

• Are interested in the area of Big Data or data science for future initiatives

• Have strong language skills – a high English standard is required; German is a big plus
