RESPONSIBILITIES
Business delivery of large scale and complex regulatory and strategic business transformation projects and programs as part of Julius Baer’s “Investment & Wealth Management Solution” division
Ensure project successfully delivers expected business case, on time, on budget, on scope and with quality while adhering to established Program and Project Management methodologies
An opportunity to act strategically and engage with key business partners in order to engineer and implement smart solutions in the context of regulatory and strategic initiatives
A role that offers high collaboration with senior management and stakeholders across the bank (e.g. front office, product manufacturing, trading, legal, compliance, operations, IT and risk management) providing an excellent platform to build a broad, cross-functional network
At least 7 years of professional experience as Project Lead and Project Manager in either regulatory and business transformation consulting or change management functions in the Wealth Management / banking industry
Ability to lead, strive and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders with intercultural interaction (Asia, UK, Europe etc.)
Proven track record in delivering large transformation programs with a clear focus on the Wealth Management value chain, coupled with the ability to lead, guide and motivate cross-functional teams through complex initiatives
Profound understanding of the Wealth Management value chain as such, including excellent knowhow of the mandate business (Advisory and Discretionary), Investment Products and related Financial Instruments
Adequate understanding of the evolving Financial services regulatory landscape, particularly affecting Wealth Management / Private Banking industry
Practical experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodologies to deliver large transformation programs is desired
Outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
Entusiastic, team-oriented, hands-on personality with a distinctive can-do attitude, comfortable in driving and managing change, actively engages constructive discussions and ensures alignment with stakeholders on all levels
Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills
Excellent interpersonal communication (both verbal and written) skills as well as organizational skills, with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to communicate status, risks, and issues to executive management effectively.
Fluency in German and English (written and verbal) is a must requirement
Strong IT skills and proficient user in MS Office applications
