RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Credit department in a wide range of complex (i.e. cross-jurisdictional aspects/multi-layered structures etc.) lending solutions offered to individuals and legal entities and involving a variety of collateral classes such as liquid and/or illiquid equity, real estate, assignment of cash-flows etc.
Supporting the Credit department also with regard to questions resulting from standard lombard/mortgage lending transactions as well as bank guarantees
Supporting the COO division, in particular but not limited to questions relating to corporate actions, custody and international insolvency cases
Serving as legal competence centre for the international units
Coordinating or supporting complex national and international litigations
Supporting national and international legal and business projects in the areas of expertise
5-7 years experience as a legal counsel in the banking area or in a corporate law firm (specialized in banking law)
Excellent legal background and good knowledge of financial products and services and banking law
Dynamic, flexible and capable of working independently
Solution and target-oriented with good analytical skills
Good communicator, capable of coping with pressure and with a natural capacity for persuading and convincing
Fluency in English (written and oral) is a must; fluent German (written and oral) desired. Additional languages are an asset
