Job Overview

Act as engagement manager for external audits in line with accounting standards (IFRS and US-GAAP) and internal audits and risk advisory projects covering ERP system landscapes, IT-supported business processes, analytics and technology innovationManage engagement teams on client projects (allocating work packages, monitoring engagement executing, mentoring staff) and support solution development activities

Develop continuously your knowledge and expertise in technology domains and as such you help our clients and KPMG to innovate

Collaborate closely with other KPMG teams both in Switzerland and internationally while working on multidisciplinary projects

Generate independently new business through proactive building relationship and solution development

Master Degree in accounting or business informaticsCPA license

More than 8 years of professional experience in performing financial statement audits and IT audits of ERP systems and business processes, within a Big 4 environment

Experience in managing global audit accounts in the Life Science and Consumer Good sector

Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS/PCAOB and SEC requirements and US audit methodology

Proven experience with implementation and execution of centralized, data-driven financial statement audits

Experience in leading teams and coaching people

Well-founded risk & compliance knowledge and excellent understanding of technology trends and innovation (e.g. SAP HANA, RPA,Data Analytics, Process Mining and Dashboards)

Communicative, motivated, solution oriented and client-focused personality

Fluent English skills are crucial for this role
