The opportunity

As a Technology Transformation Senior Manager, you will help our clients leverage technology to transform their business. As part of a high-performing team, you will deliver exceptional client service — consulting clients on technology strategies, providing advice on how technology enablement, digital transformation and enterprise intelligence will enable their business strategies. You will work with clients on their strategic technology solutions, and support clients transforming IT organizations, operating models and capabilities.

You will be able to develop your leadership, consultancy and technology skills. Working on the most challenging projects, engaging with CIO / CTO and other CXO-level executives, across borders and sectors. Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager you will work alongside clients and EY colleagues, in developing clients’ technology strategies and transformation programs, accelerating our Technology Consulting growth strategy, developing innovative go to market propositions and managing engagements and EY teams.

An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. Similarly, you will supervise managers and team leads on your projects, anticipating and identifying risks and opportunities, acting as a subject matter trusted adviser within engagements.

Contribute to continued growth and profitability for EY, by identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within existing and new clients.

Build long-term relationships with key client decision makers; act as a trusted advisor to key decision makers; identify client challenges and opportunities and shaping innovative solutions

Lead the definition of client propositions, shape the delivery of solutions and engagements, structure engage teams to deliver highest quality results

Able to drive strategic conversations with clients, on how technology and digital innovation can enable business objectives and strategy

Drive cross-functional teams or engagements with technologists, architects, developers, designers, business consultants, user researchers to build user-centric solutions, or change manage management specialists.

Be a thought leader on disruptive technologies, Digital Transformation strategies and on adoption of state-of-the-art technology; able to represent the firm in leading conferences/forums on Technology issues and trends.

Represent the voice of business strategy, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative analysis to ensure product decisions address their needs.

Manage engagement metrics

Build strong internal relationships across broader EY Consulting and with other services lines in Switzerland and across geographies

Participate in people-related initiatives

To qualify for the role you must have:

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the technology consulting/engineering domain.

Master’s degree from a reputable University with excellent academic records

A recognized and proven expertise in Information Technologies, industry standards, and or Technology enabled Business Transformation.

Track record and deep sector experience in either Pharmaceutical, Agri science, Industrials or Government and Public Sector

An entrepreneurial mentality and strong leadership skills with a track record of generating and own book of business, engagements and accounts

Strong teaming and communications drive to guide and motivate others.

Business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving capacity

Customer-centric with an ability to structure and analyze problems in a systematic and organized way

Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan

An open-minded motivated personality willing to work in teams and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Can-do mindset, with a focus on high performance standards and ability to work in a focused and independent manner

Excellent skills in both written and verbal English and German/French (both would be an advantage).
