In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of mid-size projects of the IFRS 17 & 9 Global program and ensures that the project objectives are clearly defined and met. This program will deliver the adoption of the IFRS 17 and 9 Financial Reporting standards as well as substantial changes to the Target Operating Model of the Global Finance function. You will work with the Program Director, the workstream leads and the business unit leaders applying best practice frameworks to support timely delivery of the Program roadmap.

What you will do

Select and implement the appropriate project management governance and methods

Define required resources, make trade-offs among competing objectives and manage interdependencies

Develop detailed project plans at task level based on the agreed business case

Select the appropriate stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations and manage stakeholder communications

Provide clear direction towards different workstreams and business units

Foster cross-functional collaboration mindset across the organization

Drive technical IFRS 17 & 9 working groups and discussions on accounting or actuarial matters

Accounting or Actuarial qualificationEducation in Program Managements – PMP or similar. Experience in executing waterfall and/or agile project management approaches
7+ years of experience in Financial Services industry or Financial Consulting

Profound understanding of the end-to-end financial reporting of insurance companies

Ideally knowledgeable in IFRS 17

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Aptitude to discuss and challenge key business and technical requirements and design topics

Forward thinking in order to determine alternatives and practical solutions

Ability to deal and communicate with a variety of stakeholders and good negotiation skills

Fluent written and spoken English, other languages a plus
