Job Overview
Consult with business users to identify problems and inefficiencies in electronic document handling and determine how those needs can be supported leveraging technology;
Establish and improve best practice and processes for electronic document handling: creation, reception, storage, sharing, transmission, archiving and destruction;
Take the lead in initiation, planning and implementation of projects with document management aspects; e.g. migration to a cloud based document management solution;
Develop, implement and continuously review processes to link documents with data universe via metadata, links to reference data, inheritance, etc.;
Develop strategies to increase metadata coverage for existing and future documents with efficient processes / automations;
Train business users for document management procedures and tools;
Close collaboration with IT counterpart to bridge between business and technology teams;
Actively support and share knowledge with the “process and systems team”;
3+ years working experience in a financial services company or with a leading consulting firm in a similar hands-on role at the interface between Business and IT;
Proven experience with document management systems; i.e Sharepoint;
Demonstrated understanding of data and information technology;
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, yet creative problem solving skills;
Strong communication skills and experience to interact/mediate with all levels business and IT;
Experience in asset management industry is a plus;
AIIM Certification is a plus;
Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;
Business oriented and dedicated to meet expectations within a dynamic environment;
Self-motivated, proactive, takes ownership and shows initiative;
English fluent, German is a plus.
