Job Overview
Take part in the day-to-day operational activities and act on events and incidents that need specific attention beyond the scope of production support;
Contribute to the functional availability of SimCorp Dimension ecosystem, monitor the system, the execution of batch processes and develop optimizations of processes;
Analyze problems that occur and develop solutions to resolve them; provide root cause analysis that allow to improve the processes;
Deliver support to users of the SimCorp Dimension ecosystem where necessary and liaise with production support (internal/external) on operational level;
Support the upgrade process to new releases and new functionalities;
Create specifications that are in line with the stakeholder’s requirements, assess the impact and translate desired changes/business needs into clear, functional possibilities, supported and implementable solutions;
Take responsibility for change requests or even small projects;
Responsible to deliver support during all phases of the project and business changes.
Sound experience in Batch Job management, Data import/Export and possibly Fund Accounting workflow or Communication Server is a plus;
Hands-on experience in application management / application support as well as project management and experience with Microsoft Azure platform considered a plus;
Service-oriented mindset and a high sense of responsibility;
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
Independent, pragmatic, and result driven working style;
Good communication skills (English must; German is an advantage).
