Zinc/Copper Department – Metal Logistics

To complete our Chartering/Logistic team in Zinc/Copper at our Headquarter in Baar, we are looking for a committed and highly motivated personality.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Strategically constructing supply chain transportation solutions for worldwide deliveries

• Negotiating container, dry-bulk, and rail freights with shipping lines/ freight forwarders/ brokers

• Developing a profound container/dry bulk freight-market overview

• Building-up and maintaining strong relationships with logistic service providers

• Guiding traders on market developments and logistic solutions

• Negotiating storage and handling agreements with warehouses, terminals and ports

• Ensuring compliance with international regulations and insurance/ port requirements etc.

• Assisting traffic/ operation on smooth functioning of transport execution

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of ocean/ land transport/ container logistic including substantial knowledge of Incoterms

• Experience in break bulk chartering preferable

• Practical knowledge in commodity handling preferable

• Fluency in English orally and in writing,, additional language skills preferable

The ideal candidate is/has:

• Independent, flexible and entrepreneurial work attitude and high motivation to solve problems

Efficient and well organized working skills with good know-how in IT applications (MS Office)

• Able to integrate into and to work well in a multicultural team and environment

• Strong negotiating skills
