Job Overview
The role:
Contribute to the delivery of the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan by proactively analysing compliance sensitive transactions.
This includes the following:
Define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) that allow to detect high risk transactions.
Identify the data sources required to implement the KRIs and work with the data owners to establish continuous access to the information
Design analytical procedures and develop the necessary technical documentation to build them
Validate the results of the analytical procedures to ensure their consistency with the KRI definitions
Discuss the results of the analytical procedures with the business and refine them (e.g., eliminate false positives)
Is adaptable, can easily understand new concepts and processes, and is able to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Is able to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
Feels comfortable interrogating large volumes of data and translating conclusions into action plans
Is a team player, self-motivated, eager to join one of the commodity industry leading companies and willing to specialize in compliance monitoring
Minimum requirements:
Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree
Five (5) or more years of experience as an auditor with strong data analysis skills (any industry) or as an IT analyst in the commodities industry
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, QlikSense, PowerBI)
Good knowledge / understanding of the commodities industry and compliance risks
Proficiency in English
Experience in software implementation as business partner (e.g., definition of requisites, end-user testing) is a plus
Current SWISS B/C Permit or passport holder of EU
