Job Overview
The main tasks and responsibilities include
Contribute to the delivery of the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan by producing quality reviews of our marketing offices and industrial assets.
This includes the following:
Plan and prepare the review;
Conduct interviews and process walkthroughs with the relevant
stakeholders;
Develop testing plans and execute fieldwork in accordance with the
developed testing plans;
Discuss and agree review results with the relevant stakeholders;
Provide recommendations for remediation with regards to specific
instances of non-compliance;
Prepare written review reports
Apply data analytics to enable Compliance to proactively detect and continuously monitor potential issues in real time
Maintain current knowledge of the compliance risks relevant to Glencore’s marketing offices and industrial assets
Is a team player, self-motivated and eager to join one of the commodity industry leading companies
Is able to work independently, is detail- as well as target-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure
Has a strong interest in the commodity industry and is willing to specialize in compliance monitoring
Qualifications and requirements:
Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree
Five (5) or more years of experience in Internal Audit or a similar function
Excellent communication skills (English proficiency), in particular writing skills
Good knowledge / understanding of the commodities industry and compliance risks
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI) is a plus
Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH / EU
