Job Overview

The Asset Allocation & Research department is looking for a professional to join the Economic Research team located in Pfaeffikon (SZ). The team collaborates closely with the different in-house investment teams and is responsible for:

Assessing economic, political and market developments in the context of multi-asset portfolios;

Evaluating the attractiveness of asset classes from a macro/top-down perspective;

Contributing to the tactical and strategic investment processes for our multi-asset portfolios;

Developing long-term investment views and deriving capital market assumptions for strategic asset allocation decisions;

Performing ESG/climate-related analyses in the context of economics and asset allocation;

Developing and maintaining tools and models for economic and financial market analysis;

Formulating, communicating and presenting cyclical macro and market views both internally and externally to clients and prospects;

Writing and editing market commentaries for client publications.

University Master’s degree in Economics or Finance;

3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry;

Cooperative working style, team player;

Proactive, hands-on and result-oriented personality with ability to work under pressure;

Analytical skills, ability to break down complex topics and communicate them in an approachable manner;

Fluency in English with excellent verbal and communication skills, fluency in German;

Experience with private markets, emerging economies or ESG/climate topics is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
