In this role you will join the Group Planning & Performance Management Transformation Team and be responsible to transition our current performance framework to IFRS 17/9. You will contribute to getting Group PPM ready to deliver under the new standard and engage with your colleagues of the different areas within Group Finance. This role is a perfect step for people with the ambition to grow within Group PPM.What you will do

Co-own the IFRS 17/9 adjusted steering framework and ensure its implementation within the Group and Business Units

Be our expert for P&C performance management related topics under IFRS 17/9, and help shape the adjusted performance story accordingly

As a core member of a cross-function working group, shape the understanding of and evaluate the financial performance expected under the new standard

Shape and ramp-up our adjusted close & forecast processes, by delivering light and full parallel runs till IFRS 17/9 goes live

Work closely with our market managers, product owners and the analysis, process and data team to ensure a smooth transition to the new processes & deliverables

Contribute to the implementation of our to be launch EPM and IMRP platform

Ensure and provide IFRS 17/9 training to your colleagues in the team
Work location is Zurich, Switzerland.

Masters degree (or equivalent) in Actuarial, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, and 10 or more years of experience in related fieldStrong understanding of insurance finance and IFRS 17/9, from both an actuarial technical and business steering/performance management perspective (P&C as well as possibly Life)

Significant work experience at the BU level of an insurance company

Strong analytical skills and ability to abstract from detailed analysis to high level trends and conclusions

Affinity to latest analytical tools (SAC/PBI or similar) and digital platform based processes

Ambition to work and grow in a dynamic and transformational environment

Ability to form networks across functions and business units and foster collaborative efforts

Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written), other languages are beneficial
