What you do
Coordinate and take ownership of issues in the productive environment with the IT applications being used by Zurich Claims departments
Be the single point of contact for Claims business department for production issues and pro-actively inform and keep track of tickets
Coordinate the resolution of tickets with other IT teams such as Incident Management, Development Teams and external providers
Be the expert and main contact for any infrastructure topics related to the Claims applications
Coordinate any infrastructure related topic with our strategic external supplies such as upgrades, patching activities, component renewals and re-platforming plans
Perform hands-on incident analysis, fixing and root cause identification for infrastructure issues
Perform and coordinate monthly releases around the claims applications
Assure completeness and correctness of the IT-documentation
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience in collaboration and coordination of outsourced supporting teams nearshore and offshore
Deep knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management)
Experience in analysing incident and debugging applications in Java, Tomcat, Websphere and MS SQL Server
Knowledge of Windows OS and Linux OS administration
Understanding of system integration (Webservices, REST, SOA)
Experience in continuous integration and release management tools (Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo), GIT, Maven, HP ALM)
Experience with and knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter is a great advantage
