Our Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (“CMAAS”) team advises clients on complex accounting and reporting issues in the context of exceptional changes, typically relating to capital markets transactions / IPOs, deals, new IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER standards and guidance, evolving ESG / sustainability regulations and other non-financial topics, by leveraging and developing our digital reporting solutions.

Your tasks
You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive transaction, deals, accounting, (ESG) reporting and digital experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
You advise clients or audit teams on capital market transactions, including IPOs, carve-outs / spin-offs, business combinations, private placements, and debt offerings based on understandings of the capital markets and related listing / registration processes.
You will proactively execute on engagements ranging from change advise to technical accounting questions while coaching junior team members and keeping Directors, Partners informed.
You will advise on evolving ESG reporting standards and support clients upon implementation.
You will demonstrate your ability to identify and address client needs. This includes building and maintaining client relationships, acting as the engagement manager in all matters of engagement economics and administration, and preparing/reviewing complex written and verbal materials.
You develop new skills by benefiting from upskilling trainings on the latest and upcoming relevant reporting topics, for example on ESG / sustainability.
You are in the driver seat of your own area of responsibility and leadership in our hybrid flexible work environment.
You have a degree (bachelor / master / diploma) in business, science, engineering or digital discipline and you have at least 4-6 years experience in accounting, financial reporting or audit.
You have already developed strong knowledge of reporting concepts and possibly in particular areas of accounting or industry (IFRS, Swiss Code of Obligations. IFRS 9 / 17, US GAAP, and / or Swiss GAAP FER knowledge is an asset) or ESG reporting standards with an appetite to learn and grow further.
You are fluent in German or French (both written and verbal) and you have excellent English skills.
You have an “can do” attitude, pay attention to detail, have strong problem-solving and project management skills and are technology proficient.
You are interested in digitalization, new reporting standards (e.g. ESG) and technologies, and you are willing to strengthen your technical capabilities.
You can actively drive the growth of our team by leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit and personal network.
