Job Overview
• Maintain current knowledge of the compliance risks relevant to Glencore’s marketing and industrial activities
• Contribute to the delivery of the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan by producing quality reviews
• Apply data analytics to enable Compliance to proactively detect and continuously monitor potential issues in real time
• Provide recommendations for remediation / corrective action with regards to a specific instance of non-compliance
• Recommend specific changes in processes and procedures (control environment) to prevent further occurrences of non-compliance
• Recommend improvements to Compliance policies, procedures and tools as needed to ensure that Glencore’s compliance objectives are achieved
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or PowerBI)
• Excellent communication skills (English proficiency)
• Good general knowledge and understanding of the commodities industry and compliance risks
• Is self-motivated, enthusiastic and a team player
• Has an independent and flexible work attitude and is able to work well under pressure
• Has a problem-solving mind-set
