Job Overview
Preparing and reviewing of the laytime and demurrage calculations
Monitoring and following up on the laytime calculations and settlements
Demurrage and Freight invoicing administration
Continuously monitoring and following up on unsettled claims
Communicating directly with the relevant counterparts (Broker, Agents, Ports, etc.)
Daily contact with the operations team in both Baar and the field offices
Providing constructive input to ensure current procedures continue to improve

3 – 4 years of working in laytime and demurrage calculations
Technical knowledge to include understanding of dry bulk shipping and terminal’s operation
Good know-how in using IT applications (MS Office, Business Objects and especially MS Excel)
Excellent English skills (spoken and written), further languages are of advantage
Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH / EU
