RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessment of regulatory requirements related to regulatory initiatives and to the distribution of financial instruments
Drafting of contracts, client documentation and financial instrument product disclosure predominantly in the context of regulatory changes or new business initiatives
Engagement in various projects initiated by business units with the opportunity to gain exposure within and outside the General Counsel Wealth Management division
Translation of complex and sophisticated regulatory requirements into simple business rules
Global coordination with international stakeholders
Provide ad-hoc support and efficient, client-oriented solutions related to regulatory projects and cross-border distribution of financial instruments
Cooperation in a wide variety of projects within the bank
Active collaboration and support of the agile teams
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience at a law firm or a financial service provider (preferably private banking)
In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, including distribution requirements and restrictions
Knowledge of the Swiss banking and contract law, in particular financial markets regulation governing the banking industry as well as an interest in European financial markets regulation
Dynamic, flexible and capable of working independently as well as in groups
Analytical, structured and solution orientated
Good communicator, capable of coping with pressure and with a natural capacity for persuading and convincing
Excellent command of written and spoken German and English is a must, additional languages would be an asset
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and IT flair, experience with Actico Rule Engine is a plus
