Job Overview

The ESG team for private equity leads the ESG integration work and collaborates closely with colleagues from the investment teams and client relationship managers. The ESG team currently consists of five professionals with dedicated responsibilities for ESG in private equity.

For this role the responsibilities would be:

Responsible for ESG assessments of private equity investments and private equity managers;

Manage and process (KPI) data collection and monitoring systems;

Contribute to process automation and reporting frameworks;

Work with internal stakeholders and external service/software providers to optimize ESG analyses and reporting;

Build and maintain knowledge of external developments in terms of ESG approaches in private equity and current topics in sustainability;

Prepare and present ESG data analyses to internal and external clients.

Master’s degree in (environmental) finance, natural sciences, environmental sciences or data science/applied mathematics;

Proven experience in sustainability and ESG topics with work experience between 1-3 years;

Working experience in the financial industry and/or in an international environment is advantageous;

Proven experience in data analysis, SQL databases, Excel/VBA;

Programming skills (SQL, C#, .NET, Python) give you a clear edge;

Fluency in English and German;

Proactive, dynamic and results-oriented personality;

Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented.
