Job Overview
This is a challenging and interesting role as a regulatory expert with a focus on cross-border financial product distribution within Legal IWMS (Investment Wealth Management Solutions). Legal IWMS is an international, highly motivated and dynamic team that works on various Swiss and international regulatory topics. This global role has a multijurisdictional scope, allows you to work on a wide variety of regulatory topics in relation to cross-border financial product distribution (structured products, funds, securities, derivatives, etc). You will also have a close working relationship with the colleagues responsible for the Bank’s cross-border framework and market access restrictions as well as compliance, front office and front risk management.

Assessment of regulatory requirements related to the distribution of financial instruments globally (including structured products, funds, securities, derivatives, etc.)

Drafting of cross-border financial instrument distribution rules and client documentation rules for financial instruments in the context of different service models (including advisory and discretionary mandates)

Translation of complex and sophisticated regulatory requirements into simple business rules

Definition of digital rules to be implemented into the internal systems, including lifecycle management

Global coordination with international stakeholders

Provide ad-hoc support and efficient, client-oriented solutions related to cross-border distribution of financial instruments

Cooperation in a wide variety of projects within the bank

Active collaboration and support of the agile teams.

University degree in law or similar legal education, preferably from a Swiss University, is a must

Experience as a regulatory expert in financial instruments related area (preferably private banking)

Dynamic, flexible and capable of working independently as well as in groups

Analytical, structured and solution orientated

Good communicator, capable of coping with pressure and with a natural capacity for persuading and convincing

Fluency in German and English is a must, additional languages would be an asset

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and IT flair, experience with Actico Rule Engine is a plus
