Job Overview
In this newly created position, you will report to the CFO – Europe and partner with the operations to produce financial and management reporting and analysis for our European Assets (Italy, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom).
This role represents an outstanding opportunity for you to work in an experienced Assets finance team, and work across a diverse portfolio of assets. You will have the scope to make a difference, with opportunities to work embed new processes and approaches in this newly created position. This role offers the exposure that will support your growth into broader finance leadership positions.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:
Financial & Management Accounting across the European Assets portfolio
Month-end reconciliations
Management reporting (analysis, commentary)
Systems development and improvement, ensuring that activities and procedures are as efficient and effective as possible, whilst adhering to a strong internal control ethos
Professional exposure to areas such as traffic, trading, commodities, industrial operations
Strong communication skills incl. very good English language skills, both written, Italian and/or Spanish an asset
Highly improvement focused, driven to find and implement new methods to improve processes and systems
