As part of an inspiring team, you are responsible for some of our most important applications. You are ready to take a leading role with the implementation of new applications and application components. In addition you help the firm on our journey to the cloud transformation with application migration.
As an engineer, you are responsible to define technical requirements and to implement (and document) the system. You collaborate with other teams, experts and business stakeholders to find the optimal solution.
You bring profound and high quality engineering knowhow to the IT organization and to our internal customers.
With your experience and know-how regarding cloud technologies and especially Microsoft Azure, you are responsible for the design of new cloud-solutions, migration of existing on-premise and private cloud applications and integration of such solutions into the existing landscape of enterprise applications.
You ensure reliable and efficient operational processes for business critical applications. This includes implementing high available and resilient application architectures and a responsibility for the ALM process, change, incident and problem management, troubleshooting in context of 2nd level support, updates and system patching.
Where required, you coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners (global dev- & ops teams, handover to 3rd level support, vendor management).
You have worked with (and want to learn more) cloud technologies in a complex regulated environment. This includes dealing with compliance and governance of applications that need to comply with Swiss legislation in the banking and finance sector.
You have worked on CI/CD implementations (e.g. with GitLab) and used related technologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Rancher, Artifactory, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Docker).
You are passionate about automation and have worked with corresponding technologies on Azure: scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python or Perl), monitoring Azure application infrastructures on system- and application level using tools like Azure Log Analytics, Application Insight, MS Azure SaaS, PaaS, IaaS cloud computing.
You may not be a developer, but you can bridge the gap between the needs of development and operations, e.g. by implementing business requirements for high available and redundant applications.
You have a “can do” attitude and welcome new challenges. You like working on multiple tasks in parallel and are ready to take on responsibility from day one.
You are fluent (written and spoken) in English and German.
