Your contribution to KPMG
Perform business requirements analysis and understand their respective dependencies for insurance companies in regard to core insurance systems
Create software requirements specifications (SRSs) to support the defined business processes
Help to develop solutions and business models at the intersection of IT and business in the areas of P&C, life and health insurance
Organize and support workshops, business requirements gathering, gap analysis and product analysis
Support the optimization of core insurance systems and processes, e.g. underwriting, sales & distribution, and claims.
Sustainable improvement of efficiency and effectiveness gains in various areas, e.g. business analysis & design, process optimization, data migration
Support in conceptualization and preparation of decision papers for top management and project steering groups
Execution of assigned tasks within deliverable and project deadline
Collaboration in a fast-paced interdisciplinary team
2-3 years of experience as a management consultant or business analyst in the insurance sector, especially in the area of IT transformation, core system projects or in business architecture. Life insurance is a strong plus.
You bring technical or industry knowledge and understand the systematics in the area of (life-) insurance & pensions, especially interaction of areas such as customer service, underwriting, claims and product management
Project experience ideally in one of the following areas within (life-) insurance (e.g. core system transformation, digital transformation or automation)
Quick comprehension and structured analytical ability, proactive, on-time and goal-oriented work style with results of consistently high quality, even under tight deadlines
Knowledge of (life) insurance-related core processes (analyzing & designing) and core systems as a plus
First experience in cross-channel and cross-divisional collaboration with stakeholders at both project and management level
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in German and English
