Your tasks
You are part of our application operations team. Together, you take care of operations for some our most important applications.
Your main responsibility and area of expertise is the implementation of workflows for automated document processing based on ABBYY FlexiCapture.
You ensure reliable and efficient operational processes for business-critical application based on that platform.
You define technical and business requirements and implement (and document) the solution.
You collaborate with other teams, experts and business stakeholders to find the best solution for a given problem.
Where required, you coordinate activities with internal and external parties, for example with PwC global dev- and ops teams, handover to 3rd level support and management of suppliers and vendors.
You are experienced with setup and implementation of complex business process automations. Preferably, you have worked with ABBYY Flexicapture or other products (Ephesoft, Kofax) or bring the willingness to dive into the ABBYY technology. Alternatively you have implemented automation solutions based on other automation platforms, for example: Microsoft Azure DevOps or the Azure Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), for example Appian, Blue Prism etc.
You have some development experience (e.g. object-oriented programming based on C/C#) and advanced scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl). You know how to translate business requirements into technical solutions. And you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ideally, you also bring an interest and good working knowledge in some of the following areas: Automation in general, particular regarding deployment automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet etc.) and CI/CD automation (e.g. VSTS, Azure DevOps), implementation of monitoring sollutions (system, applications, performance, logs) using tools like Elasticsearch or Kibana, cloud technologies based on MS Azure, e.g. micration of on-premise applications, hybrid cloud scenarios.

You are fluent (written and spoken) in English. German language skills are preferred but not a must.
