RESPONSIBILITIES
An exciting opportunity to join the Front Risk Management (FRM) Americas team, with the responsibility to lead the Suitability Competence Center for Region Americas
Execution of the Suitability & Appropriateness monitoring, testing and advisory activities
Collaborate with the Front Office advising, managing and mitigating Suitability & Appropriateness risks
Able to demonstrate extensive regulations (MiFID, FIDLEG), products and client classification experience
Comprehensive risk management, developing and providing oversight of the overall 1st Line of Defense (LoD) Risk and Control framework, assessment, risk mitigation measures and risk steering & monitoring
Support FRM Americas in bank-wide implementation of projects and initiatives, including reporting, monitoring and presentations
Management reporting and preparation of supporting material for the senior management’s decision making
Building and maintaining effective relationships with inhouse stakeholders as well as 2nd LoD
At least 7 to 10 years of professional experience preferably gained in the banking sector within a Compliance, Front Risk or Risk role in the products and services area
Interest in Private Banking/Wealth Management & Risk topics
Excellent command of written and spoken English prerequisite for this role (either Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a plus)
Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with senior management and to build trusted partnerships
Ability to take responsibility and stay focused on objectives
