Job Overview

We are looking for a player-coach that works closely with stakeholders within the business, finance, risk and compliance functions to ensure optimal integration of procurement processes. A key success factor for this role is right-sizing the procurement role to fit the dynamic, culture and ambition of the firm. This role is for procurement professionals that have the ability to combine developing the function while leading in the execution by example. This position will be the line manager of an additional sourcing manager, currently foreseen. The total annual spend is around CHF 70 Mio.

Your responsibilities include:

Lead the procurement department overseeing a staged roll-out of procurement function globally;

Implementation & oversight of key procurement processes, templates and supporting systems. With an initial focus procure-to-pay, contract life cycle management and source-to-contract processes;

Active role in sourcing for the procurement categories IT soft- and hardware and / or professional services. Active guidance & support for all other categories;

Oversight and monitoring of the sourcing category financial market data (outsourced);

Introduce procurement specific KPI’s to ensure and monitor adherence to 3rd party risk, procurement and Contract Management Directives;

Shared responsibility of supplier relationship management activities of tier 1 suppliers;

Contribute further to a positive and motivating work environment with your stakeholders and peers;

Implement and anchor the procurement directive in the organization and monitor compliance;

Active change management, communication and training;

Ensure an optimal price / value ratio to avoid and save cost.

University degree (bachelor or master) in business administration / economics / finance or similar (Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education);

Higher or advanced professional education in Procurement or Supply Management is a plus;

Minimum 10 years working experience in a similar role. Candidates with experience in financial service industry are preferred;

Excellent knowledge and experience in procurement processes and systems, indirect spend sourcing;

Demonstrated managerial skills both in line- and project- and change management on various hierarchy and stakeholder levels;

Expertise in the procurement categories IT and Professional Services;

Proven cost budget responsibility and process orientation;

Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking, high resilience, and flexibility;

Ability to act as an internal service provider for all procurement and sourcing matters within the organization;

Very good command of German and English with the ability to adapt communication style to a wide range of stakeholders.
