Job Overview

A challenging and interesting role as a Swiss lawyer with a focus on Swiss and international legal and regulatory topics as part of the General Counsel Private Banking Division in Zurich

Be part of a highly motivated, dynamic team within a global environment

Working closely with internal and external specialists from all over the world and advising senior management on legal and regulatory aspects

Advising on and managing all aspects of complaints and litigation issues, including management of external counsel

Drafting and reviewing contracts and correspondence

Training of the Bank’s employees on legal and regulatory topics

Monitoring of legal and regulatory developments and their impact on the Bank’s business

Facilitating and implementing measures in the Bank’s risk mitigation process

University degree in law and admittance to the Bar in Switzerland; additional qualifications (LL.M., PhD) would be an asset

Good knowledge of Swiss contract law and bank regulatory expertise

Professional experience in bank regulatory matters or contract law would be an asset

Dynamic, flexible and capable of working independently

Solution and target-orientated and analytical skills while staying client-orientated

Good communicator, capable of coping with pressure and with a natural capacity for persuading and convincing

Fluency in English and German (written and oral) is a must, additional languages would be an asset
