Your responsibilities

Strongly support the project lead or relevant stakeholder at the client across various industry sectors and within different areas e.g. Portfolio analyses, M&A (buy-side, sell-side), operational/carve-out/commercial due diligence, JV and partnership strategy, exit strategies, divestments and carve-outs, integration/separation planning and execution (PMI / PMO), Transition Services Agreements definition and management, Synergy assessments

Manage client relationships with top management stakeholders in an international environment

Provide high-quality deliverables, respecting deadlines and monitoring budget costs while executing projects

Oversee (sub-)project teams, guide and train more junior advisors

Support our commercial activities by supporting or leading proposals and other business development activities

Support our recruiting and knowledge management initiatives

A university degree in business, finance, natural sciences, economics, IT or industrial engineering

A minimum of five years professional experience in Business Development, Strategy, Consulting or Mergers & Acquisitions

Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of mental flexibility, being able to manage different operational and financial topics in various industries

A keen interest in Mergers & Acquisitions and awareness of current leading practices along the M&A process (across the deal cycle from pre-deal to post-deal phases)

Sense of responsibility and high degree of professionalism to provide above-average performance and high-quality work even in challenging situations

Comfortable in working in the high pressured yet often ambiguous and flexible conditions that characterize transactions

Ability to work with top management stakeholders, willingness to travel

Fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage (especially French)
