Job content
We are looking for a motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team as we progress along modernizing and improving our applications. Our current landscape is based around JavaEE running on JBoss and we are in the process of modernizing our applications using Spring Boot with Docker and Kubernetes. We are excited to undertake this journey and hope to find a teammate who feels the same.

Strategic technology stack:

• Applications built with Spring Boot and Java 11

• UI built with React and Typescript

• Deployed with Docker and Kubernetes

Delivering value to our stakeholders requires us to:

• Focus on making the code clean and readable

• Secure the code with unit tests

• Choose and configure appropriate tools which assist to deliver and monitor our applications

• Collaborate with on-site domain experts on a regular basis for requirements clarification

Our working culture allows us to:

• Work together as a team

• Have the freedom of choosing the appropriate tools for the job

• Incorporate appropriate Agile practices to ensure success

• Learn continuously to stay current on latest trends

• Have a minimum 5 years of professional Java experience

• Willing to work on the full stack

• Are educated to degree level (or equivalent)

• Have strong language skills – a high English standard is required; German is a plus
