Strategy Manager Consumer Business, Monitor Deloitte

As a Strategy Manager focused on Consumer Business, you will work together with your team to solve never-before-seen challenges, bring your bold perspective into action, and develop transformative strategies on all organizational levels.

· In this multi-faceted Consumer Business project manager role, you will be addressing business problems in an analytical manner, structure decision making, and strive to develop pragmatic recommendations, tempered by experience

· Your aspiration is to help clients to gain or maintain competitive advantage against an ever-changing market context – focusing on strategic transformation, innovation & ventures, organic growth and other highly strategic services

· This is a client-facing role, not a position where you should expect to be desk-based – instead, you will often work in flexible and agile team environments

· Unlike many other strategy consultancies, we are valued by our clients for our ability to see the vision through to reality, producing a plan and approach to successfully bring our client’s strategy to life

· The nature of our work varies greatly, but chances are your engagements will involve all of the following over time: growth strategy; customer, portfolio and (omni-) channel strategies; new proposition development; market entry/ product launch strategy; customer engagement and digital strategy; and sales force effectiveness

· You will be able to coach and support junior team members and share your prior experience

· Extensive experience (5+ years) and background in strategy consulting within a consulting firm or related experience in an industry/ start-up role in the Consumer sector (e.g., FMCG, Luxury, Retail). Experience in ecommerce and direct-to-consumer is highly desirable.

· University degree from a reputable institution/ MBA from a leading business school

· Fluency in English (German and/ or French a plus)

· Incisive thinker, confident with concepts, analysis and frameworks

· Ability to structure, manage and deliver change

· Leadership capabilities with an enthusiastic, positive, can do attitude

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with notable presence

· Passionate about doing an outstanding job for the client

· Willingness to travel
